Sangar Rum is a handcrafted, organic rum inspired by Liberia's traditional 'Cane-juice.' Founded by Mike Sehzue in 2012, the brand reflects a commitment to economic development and cultural heritage.

Historical Significance:
In 2010, during a visit to his father's homeland of Liberia, Mike Sehzue witnessed the nation's efforts to rebuild after 14 years of civil war. Recognizing the potential of his family's century-old sugarcane plantation in Nimba County, he established Miseh Distilling. This venture not only aimed to produce high-quality rum but also to stimulate the local economy by sourcing sugarcane from smallholder farmers and reinvesting a portion of proceeds into community projects.
