Meet the Founders
Sean and Tia Edwards, a husband-and-wife team from Lexington, Kentucky, co-founded Fresh Bourbon Distilling Co. In 2017, Sean, a native of Lexington, embarked on a journey to establish a distillery in his hometown. Together, they have been recognized by the state of Kentucky as the first African Americans to make Kentucky bourbon since slavery. Their mission is to create a bourbon that is approachable for newcomers yet satisfying for connoisseurs, reflecting their commitment to inclusivity and quality.
