Dia Simms is a co-owner of Saint Liberty Whiskey, the producer of Bertie's Cask Strength Bourbon Whiskey. In August 2020, Hands, a Black-women-owned spirits advisory and investment company co-founded by Dia Simms and Erin Harris, acquired a stake in Saint Liberty Whiskey. This partnership aims to honor and share the untold stories of women in whiskey history.
