Meet the Founder
Serpiente Tequila was founded by Mayo Akindele, an entrepreneur with a passion for international business and a love for high-quality tequila. After studying International Business & Finance at Trinity University and spending time in Spain, Mayo developed an appreciation for premium tequilas. His frequent travels to Mexico exposed him to a range of high-quality tequilas not available in the U.S., inspiring him to create Serpiente Tequila. Partnering with one of the most awarded distilleries in Mexico, Mayo crafted a tequila that blends traditional artisanal methods with modern innovation.
