  • Born and raised in New Orleans, Nick Joseph first built his audience through comedy. After high school, he served in the military and later studied Mass Communications at Southern University. While in college, he returned to comedy and began posting videos on Vine and Instagram.

    His sketches with fellow creator Dan Rue gained a large following and helped take the pair to MTV’s Wild ’N Out, where Nick became a cast member during Season 11. He later expanded beyond entertainment and launched Amí Brandy in late 2020, investing his own money in the goal of owning a premium spirits brand.

    Amí reflects Nick’s path from New Orleans class clown to entertainer and entrepreneur. The brand centers friendship, originality, perseverance, and the belief that every achievement deserves its moment.
