    Vanessa Gravesande Braxton, Brooklyn-born structural engineer-turned-distiller, launched Black Momma Vodka in 2012. As the first African‑American woman Master Distiller and Master Blender in the US, she spearheads a fully Black‑owned distillery and 15-acre farm in New York.
