BIDO Sparkling Wines was founded by Nneka Ihim, a licensed attorney, entrepreneur, and reality television personality whose passion for celebration and fine sparkling wines led her to launch the brand. Nneka's vision was to create a wine that was both high-quality and deeply personal, paying homage to her Nigerian heritage. The brand name itself, "Bido," is an Igbo word meaning "begin," and the logo features Nigeria's national flower, the Yellow Trumpet.
