Meet the Founder
Savannah Campbell is the founder of Caribe & Co., a Caribbean-inspired flavored syrup company she launched in 2022. A trained chef and food entrepreneur, Campbell holds an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s degree in Food & Beverage Entrepreneurship from Johnson & Wales University. Before starting her company, she worked in restaurants and hotels, including leadership roles as a sous chef and interim executive chef.
Campbell created Caribe & Co. after experiencing burnout in the restaurant industry and beginning to experiment with homemade syrups while working long hours. Drawing on her Jamaican heritage and the bold flavors she grew up with, she began developing syrups inspired by Caribbean treats like coconut drops and traditional ingredients like sorrel and ginger.
Her mission with Caribe & Co. is to introduce Caribbean flavor traditions to a wider audience through approachable products that work in coffee, cocktails, and desserts. Today, the Black- and woman-owned brand celebrates cultural storytelling through simple ingredients and nostalgic island flavors.
