Doce Mezcal is an artisanal mezcal from the hills of Oaxaca, Black-owned and women-owned, produced alongside a third-generation family distillery led by Maestra Mezcalera Margarita Blas. It's made from 100% hand-harvested Capon Espadin agave, brought to full maturity before harvest, with no additives.
It is a good fit for mezcal beginners and fans alike; it's earthy and complex but approachable, not aggressively smoky. Sip it neat with orange, or build it into a mezcal cocktail.

What Makes It Special
Doce was co-founded by Gabriela Lawrence and Mia Tonelli, who saw a gap for quality mezcal made for women and underrepresented drinkers. It's produced in Oaxaca alongside Maestra Mezcalera Margarita Blas, a third-generation mezcalera. The brand received a strategic investment from Pronghorn, the Diageo-backed Black spirits accelerator, in 2025.
