Meet the Founder
HRLM Champagne was co-founded in Harlem by DarDra Coaxum and her partners, with key collaboration from Matthieu Yamoum, a Champagne, France–born wine professional who helped bring the concept to production in France.
The group worked with established winemaker Jonathan Sacy and partners in Champagne to produce an authentic Champagne that reflects both worlds: old-world technique and Harlem-rooted culture. HRLM is built around celebration, community, and representation—bringing a traditionally exclusive category into spaces where it hasn’t always been centered.
